Scott Grogan
Club Director/10U Coach
Meet Dr. Grogan, a chiropractor/owner of Back Pain Center and also owner of a strength and conditioning facility, Trainology, on a mission to bring lacrosse to St. Charles County, MO. Founder of the new Fort Zumwalt United Lacrosse Club, Dr. Grogan's passion for the game stems from his two sons' involvement through the years and now his own participation in men's league lacrosse.
With expertise in chiropractic care and fitness, and a long history in coaching his children’s teams, Dr. Grogan is not just introducing a sport; he's creating a holistic athletic program. His vision goes beyond the physical benefits, emphasizing teamwork, discipline, and personal growth.
As a dedicated advocate for youth development through sports, Dr. Grogan's lacrosse initiative reflects his commitment to building a community where health, fitness, and the joy of playing lacrosse come together for the benefit of children in St. Charles County.
Daniel Rogenhofer
Freshman Coach
Meet Daniel Rogenhofer, a passionate Physical Education teacher in the Ferguson-Florissant School District. Armed with a Bachelor's degree in Physical Education from Missouri State University and a Master's in Positive Coaching Psychology from the University of Missouri, Daniel brings a wealth of knowledge and a commitment to the Fort Zumwalt United Lacrosse Club.
What sets Daniel apart is his Master's degree in Positive Coaching Psychology, emphasizing the psychological aspects of coaching and the profound impact it can have on athletes. His coaching style is a seamless blend of technical expertise, motivational leadership, and a genuine concern for the well-being of his students.
Daniel's coaching journey is highlighted by a strong background in both lacrosse and football coaching. He started coaching in 2015 at Republic high school and has coached in several other high school and club programs since, including Lee summit, Hazelwood West and Lou Fusz’s competitive Blue Star team. Now, living in the O’fallon area with his wife Becky and daughter Cora, Rogenhofer is excited to bring his coaching and leadership to Fort Zumwalt United!

Shannon Sligo
Freshman Coach
Meet Coach Shannon Sligo, the newest addition to Fort Zumwalt United Lacrosse Club. With a stellar background as both a player and coach, Coach Sligo brings a winning mentality and a passion for the game.
Coach Sligo excelled in college on the east coast as a lacrosse player, demonstrating leadership and earning multiple recognitions through his playing career and eventually being inducted into his college hall of fame. Transitioning seamlessly into coaching, he achieved remarkable success at both the college and youth levels. Known for his development of fundamentals and connecting with athletes, Coach Sligo is set to elevate Fort Zumwalt United Lacrosse Club to new heights.
Coach Sligo has recently relocated here from the East Coast with his wife and two kids and is excited to bring his skills and passion for the game to Fort Zumwalt United!

VJ Dahm
8th Grade/Goalie Coach
Four year starter, 2017 College of Idaho graduate (B.A. Business Administration) VJ Dahm. VJ comes from the potato state of Idaho. During his time at C of I, VJ stamped his name in history as a goaltender on the Yotes lacrosse program. Setting career records and stats such as: All time single season, save record with 236 saves, Goals Against Average 7.77, and program history career save record of 614 saves, and a single season career save record of 70% save rate.
Post college career, VJ focused on giving back to the community and joined a local high school coaching staff at Eagle High School in Eagle, ID. During his time at EHS, VJ took the role of the JV head coach. During his first season as the JV Head Coach, the group of young men under his leadership ended the season 13-1 and ended the season as the #1 JV team in the state.
The next year VJ would return to EHS, but this time as the program Head Coach, leading the Varsity program. This new role presented new challenges, a new role with a new group of young men. The EHS varsity program the year prior only recording a 3-8 season and no playoff appearance. With the buy-in of the young men, assistance and dedication of his assistant coaches, and a little bit of magic. VJ directed the ship on this varsity program and bolstered a 11-2 record, walking away with the Idaho State Championship Title.
After this season, VJ would move to St. Louis, MO to pursue a career opportunity and next step in his relationship with his girlfriend (Mariah). After a year, VJ made the decision to dust off his cleats and get back on the field, but as a player again... which led him to the Ducks coaching staff.

Matt has been coaching lacrosse in the St. Louis area for over ten years between Lafayette High School, Fort Zumwalt Lacrosse Club, and Lou Fusz Lacrosse Club.
Matt and his wife, Angela, have three kids, Kyle (16), Hope (12), and Aiden (11). The reside in the Fort Zunwalt district and look forward to watching their youngest attend Fort Zumwalt East, playing lacrosse under the Fort Zumwalt banner.

Brian Livingston is an enthusiastic lacrosse coach, driven by a deep passion for the sport and a genuine excitement to guide not only his sons but also the entire Fort Zumwalt United Lacrosse Club. With an impressive coaching journey spanning sixteen years, Brian has established himself as a seasoned and accomplished figure in the lacrosse community.
Awards such as the MSLA Coach of the Year, earned three times, underscore Brian's exceptional coaching abilities and his dedication to fostering excellence on the lacrosse field. His coaching style is characterized by a unique blend of technical expertise, motivational leadership, and a genuine connection with his players.
In the Fort Zumwalt United Lacrosse Club, Brian is not just a coach but a mentor, inspiring young athletes to excel both in their skills and as individuals. His commitment to the sport goes beyond the accolades, reflecting a desire to instill a love for lacrosse and a sense of camaraderie within the team.
Brian's involvement in coaching his own sons adds a personal touch to his approach, emphasizing the importance of family, teamwork, and the values inherent in lacrosse. As a respected figure in the lacrosse community, Brian Livingston continues to leave a lasting impact, shaping the next generation of players within the Fort Zumwalt United Lacrosse Club.

Jason Case
5th Grade Coach
Jason is a passionate lacrosse coach with a proven track record of success at Hazelwood Lacrosse 2008-2018.
While at Hazelwood he was the head JV and Assistant Varsity Coach and ultimately helped lead Hazelwood to two different Show-Me cup Championships.
Jason uses his diverse coaching background in basketball, volleyball, and cross-country to bring a unique perspective to coaching lacrosse. Additionally, he is a long time educator in the field of Health and Physical Education with BA of Science from the University of Missouri-St. Louis.
Show-Me Cup Champions in 2011 and 2017.
